THE YOUNG WORKERS COUNCIL

We have a new generation of workers that feel their voices are not being heard.  One of the ways to embrace you is to start a Young Workers Council that will prepare you to be our future leaders. I was fortunate to be mentored by strong union leaders that taught me fundamentals. The Young Workers Council will need a bylaws change that will establish the rules of the council. We will have a meeting of those that are interested so the council can chose what training is most beneficial and what community action you want to perform. In addition to this we want to reward those who are involved, we will find a way to send members of the council to Black Lake.

The council will
Educate – Classes will be held at the hall
Mentor- Provide guidance based on union fundamentals
Community Action- the council will have outreach in our community

If you are interested in being a part of the Young Workers Council, please leave your name in the feedback section so we can move forward together.
